The One Hundred® Ladakh, Trail to Heaven race stands as a majestic chapter in the grand tapestry of the One Hundred® Trail Endurance World Championship. This endurance high-altitude mountain trail race, set against the awe-inspiring backdrop of the cold desert along the Markha river, from Leh to Stok in the Ladakh region of the Great Himalayas, is not just a race; it's an emblem of human perseverance and spirit. Scheduled between the 21st and 23rd of August 2024, and extending over 100 miles (158 km), it challenges participants to push their limits across some of the most breathtaking terrains on the planet.

The Trans-Himalayan region of Ladakh, is a geological and a cultural wonder. The name ‘La-dakh’, translates in English to ‘the land of the high passes’ . Inhabited by a unique mix , the small population comprises of natives and people of central Asian descent. Ladakh has been the gateway for caravans traveling on the ancient Silk Route, connecting the Indian sub-continent to Central Asia. Most of Ladakh lies above the altitude of 3500 Meters (11,500 ft.) It is home to one of the highest mountains in the world towering over 7000 meters (23,000 ft). The rich culture, stunning landscape and the element of high altitude makes Ladakh a unique spot on our planet for a great endurance challenge.

GPS Navigation: Exclusive reliance on GPS navigation; athletes must arrive equipped with prepared gear, loaded GPX files, and additional batteries.

Preparation: Ladakh presents a unique challenge in form of high altitude, that requires acclimatization, making it more like a multi-day expedition centred around the main event. 5–6-day acclimatization before the main event is an absolute must, as the final piece of preparation.

Transfers: All participants arriving at the Leh airport will be received and picked up by the race organizing team in vehicles, and dropped at the team hotel. During the race, race organizers will be providing support through vehicles & fixed manned stations along the course, hence participants are not required to arrange any private vehicles for support purposes during the race.
