As part of the prestigious One Hundred® Endurance Trail World Championship 2024 (special stage), we are thrilled to present the CRO-TRAIL EDITION 2024: "1ST TRAIL RUNNING FESTIVAL.”

Experience a race course among the most beautiful in the entire Alpine arc, featuring:

1) Classic mountain panoramas with typical high altitude vegetation.

2) Stay tuned for the 2025 evolution, promising a renewed approach to Trail Running competitions, emphasizing the true "SPIRIT OF TRAIL" that should always characterize such challenges. Join us for a remarkable journey that transcends traditional racing!

Date: 29-30 June 2024

Location: Limone P.te (CN), Vernante.

Distances: 29 June: 15th Edition LA VIA DEI LUPI - 11 km route with 640 m of positive altitude difference, starting and finishing in Limone P.te (CN) Italy. Open to Italian and foreign athletes with a valid medical certificate for competitive running.

30 June: 18th Edition CRO TRAIL - 43 km route with 3060 m of positive height difference, starting from Vernante and concluding in Limone P.te (CN) Italy. Awards 3 ITRA points.

Special Features: Two days of races dedicated to mountain running, forming part of the One Hundred® Endurance Trail World Championship 2024 (special stage). Exhibition area with technical stands and local producers.

Classifications for each individual race and a combined classification between the two races.

Special 'HIM & HER' classification for couples running the two races combined.

Additional Services: Transport shuttle for athletes from Limone/Vernante/Limone on Sunday 30 June – from 07:00.

Aperitif offered by the Consulta Giovani di Limone at affiliated venues on Saturday 29 June. Tourist registration packages for overnight stays with breakfast in accommodation facilities in Limone P.te and Vernante. Dinner at special prices in partner restaurants in Limone P.te and Vernante.

Prize Money

In our continuous effort to enhance the Trail Running Festival experience and in recognition of the exceptional achievements of our trail runners, we are delighted to announce substantial prize money for the CRO-TRAIL EDITION 2024. This reward is a testament to the dedication and determination exhibited by the participants.

Recognizing the unique nature of our event, we have decided to provide prize money for the 'combined' classification of both the 43km and 11km races.
